Visualization Conquers Fear

How Crystal-clear Visualization Can Conquer Your Fear of Failure

Visualization is one of the most powerful tools for preparing the mind for success. The process of visualization is a creative process that has been employed by many to overcome their fear of failure, as well as the six basic fears identified by Napoleon Hill in Chapter 15 of Think and Grow Rich.

Fear is an enormously powerful emotion. Indecision, doubt and fear are a closely related trio that if allowed to dominate your mind, will thwart every effort to attain your goals. Indecision is the seedling of fear because it crystallizes into doubt and the two combined become fear (Chapter 15, Think and Grow Rich).

As we progress through the Master Key Experience the idea that what you think about is what manifests in your life has been brought home in many ways. If you haven’t listened to Earl Nightingale’s “The Strangest Secret” you should, because he covers that idea extremely well.

And so it should be obvious if you let your mind dwell on failing fear will rear its ugly head and you’ll pretty well be assured you’ll get what you think about. Your fear will be realized; you’ll just flat out fail.

Create Your Reality Using Visualization

visualization is spiritual powerWhat you must do is prepare your mind so that feelings of fear and failure are given no purchase. It’s not a matter of defeating fear; rather you must banish it completely from your mind. And that’s where learning how to create your reality using visualization comes in.

We know from our work with Haanel and the Master Key Master Mind Alliance that thought is power and that it is creative. Haanel says in The Master Key Part Sixteen (8) The power to create depends entirely upon spiritual power; there are three steps, idealization, visualization and materialization.”

Idealization is the same thing as your definite purpose as noted in step 1 of How to Develop Persistence (in Chapter 9 Think And Grow Rich) and The Self-Confidence Formula (Chapter 3). That first step is clearly defining exactly what you want.

The second step is creative visualization where you use the power of your imagination to create what you want in life; the actual materialization or the third step. This is not a simple process nor is it magical. It calls upon the power of your conscious mind to create a clear mental picture of what you want which is then turned over to the subconscious mind where a connection with the unlimited potentialities and resources of the Universal Mind can be forged.

Following the four steps of Hill’s Self-Confidence Formula develops the very key to success: the Habit of Persistence.

Visualization Is A Spiritual Power

Haanel says that idealization, imagination, concentration and visualization are spiritual powers that if understood and applied, can create anything the mind can conceive. Bypassing fear of failure by developing self-confidence and faith using the power of visualization is but a minor benefit of learning how to control your thoughts and your mind.

Attaining anything you desire, without limitation, is the ultimate pay off when you control your thoughts and direct them toward your goals. Keep in mind there are no limits to “whatsover things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive, and ye shall have them“.

But getting from an intellectual understanding of that prophetic statement and actually bringing it into reality is a Hero’s Journey. The Master Key Master Mind Alliance Experience launched me onto that journey and will do the same for many more. There’s nothing like it. Try it on yourself!
